A message from the Headteacher

Dear Parents, Carers and our School Community,

Welcome to our school website.  We hope the information shared here will help give you an idea of the wonderful things that happen at Ysgol Heol Goffa.

Ysgol Heol Goffa is a school for pupils aged 3-19 with a range of additional learning needs, predominantly PMLD and SLD. We currently have 111 pupils on roll who attend from across the local authority of Carmarthenshire.

We are a school that thrives on delivering a bespoke and individualised curriculum that meets the needs of all our learners through exciting activities and opportunities.  We pride ourselves on the progress that our learners make during their educational career here.

Links with our parents, professionals and the local and wider community, are essential in assisting us to enable our pupils to receive the very best educational experiences and the most relevant and appropriate opportunities to develop their independence and life skills in preparation for the world after they leave our school

During these currently challenging times we will continue, along with your support, to do all we can to ensure the children are as safe as possible and that school remains a calm, happy and consistent place where your children look forward to attending

Please make sure you are signed up to our communication systems: Class Dojo, Twitter and Facebook to keep up to date with activities, events  and local and national  announcements.

Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Kind regards and stay safe,

Miss Ceri Hopkins

Headteacher
